Soldier serving with Battery B, 4th Battalion, 42nd Regiment Field Artillery, attached to 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), discovered a cache at approximately 11:15 a. On either side of the Wilson grave were memorial stones commemorating Grieve and Indian Mutiny VC recipient Private James Davis, 42nd Regiment (The Black Watch). World War II veteran Ken Turner UE laid the wreath on our behalf, accompanied by his colour guard, Rick Peterson UE, who dressed in the uniform of the 42nd Regiment, Royal Highlanders. |
