The humble washing line is making a come back with sales of outside airers and washing line pegs up more than 20 per cent year on year as we realise outdoor drying is the greener option.
But, no, I'm in the house with all the windows closed, the washing is draped over the airer and I've just had to use my asthma inhaler.
