Tokyo, Japan, Dec 26, 2006 - (JCN Newswire) - Today, the JAL Group
filed an application with the Japanese Ministry of Land Infrastructure,
and Transport (MLIT) requesting a revision of IATA international normal
and PEX airfares applicable for Japan departures. At least three other carriers have grabbed
market share since aviation authorities deregulated airfares in 1998,
allowing charter airlines to sell tickets on the retail market. Six Flags said its promotion is designed to help families avoid
high airfares by finding ``affordable'' entertainment closer
to home. |
