Using Computer tomography scanning of the fins of seven different species ranging from the slow swimming Amazon River dolphin and pygmy sperm whale to the super-fast striped dolphin, the team made scaled models of the flippers of each species.
Guests have the opportunity to search for more than 100 kinds of birds, pink and gray Amazon River dolphins, 15 species of monkeys, sloths, giant otters and nocturnal animals such as caimans and capybaras.
The Amazon River dolphin, adapted for life in turbid waters, has tiny eyes and uses instead advanced echolocation to find prey.
