| Americans United for Separation of Church and
State, along with the American Civil Liberties Union of Pennsylvania,
brought the lawsuit challenging a public school board's policy of
promoting intelligent design. It was part of the on-going attempt by
the American Civil Liberties Union to drive Christianity out of public
life. With the American Civil Liberties Union, Helen Green filed suit on
March 2 in federal court against Bowman and the town Bowman has since
called the allegation against him "a boldface face lie. |
