General Kofi Anan, calling his support for the tax "particularly
short-sighted and disappointing" and claiming that it "ignores
the policies of [ICAO]--a UN agency--that seeks to eliminate taxes on
the sale of air transport. La Canada learned during the match that its own Anan Muthiah had
badly sprained his knee when he was hit by a friend's car earlier
in the afternoon in the high school's parking lot. At the General
Assembly meeting on 9/23, Kofi Anan called for reform, especially for
the Security Council, to make it more representative. |
