A PROPOSAL submitted by Hyderabad- based Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology ( CCMB) to " immortalise" cell lines of vanishing tribes of Andaman and Nicobar islands has been rejected by the Centre.
Byline: ANI Port Blair (Andaman and Nicobar Islands), Sep 4 (ANI): Former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam on Friday unveiled a vision document for the strategic development of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands by the year 2020.
Monowara Sarker, of the charity Red Crescent which is helping to repatriate the migrants, said at least 150 more remained in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
