RC) Albrecht Dürer - Self-Portrait with a Fur Coat (1498), Apocalypse of St John woodcut series (1498), Self-Portrait with a Fur Coat (1500), Knight, Death and Devil (1513), Melencolia I (1514) The first time I saw a reproduction of Dürer's Self-Portrait with a Fur Coat, I thought it was a painting of Christ.
The oldest existing set is the Apocalypse of St John, six finely woven hangings 18 foot high, totalling 471 foot in length which were woven from 1375 to 1379 in Paris.
