KATIE HOFF SWIMMING Shirley Babashoff, Natalie Coughlin and Dara Torres have all captured five medals in a single Olympics, but Hoff has the potential to exceed that total with what could be one of the great showcases by a female swimmer in the history of the sport.
And the US Olympic Committee is seeking "appropriate medal recognition" for Linda Jezek, Lauri Siering, Camile Wright and Shirley Babashoff, who lost out to the East Germans in the women's medley relay at Montreal.
