Katerina Bychkova, the newest member of Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo, the world-renowned and wildly popular all-male ballet company, is much sweeter in person than her name lets on.
When Gradimir Pankov took the reins at Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montreal six years ago, he wanted to wake up a sleepy classical ballet company by infusing it with a good dose of contemporary European choreography.
During its past 10 years, LACBT has performed four original, full-length history ballets as well as a dozen original short ballets, contemporary dance works, modern dance pieces, and variations on numerous classic ballets.
