Her name, and that of Kyle Katarn in Jedi Outcast, have clearly been invented according to the `work-out-your-Star-Wars-name' game, in which you take the first three letters of your first name and add them to the first two of your last name, and then take the first two letters of your mother's maiden name and add them to the first three of your place of birth (which makes me Barmi Daliv, if anyone's interested).
