A city of south-central Russia on the Ob River south of Novosibirsk. It is an industrial center in a mining and agricultural region. Population: 631,000.

Agromash has factories in Volgograd, Krasnoyarsk and Barnaul, with subsidiaries in the Russion Federation, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
