Among the figures included are Aeschylus, Isabel Allende, Hans Christian Andersen, Aristotle, Margaret Atwood, Matsuo Basho, the Bronte sisters, Robert Burns, Karel Capek, J.
Their first album, High Seas, came out in 1997 and was followed by a 2004 release, Lowlands, on the Basho label.
Another guitarist, Ben Monder, opens the album with a wandering, evocative intro on "Fairmount" that's reminiscent of Robbie Basho.
