Zahle's bishops and deputies issued a statement this evening regarding the security breaching incidents which have been witnessed recently in the area of Zahle and the Beqaa, ranging from vehicle robberies to armed attacks, carried out by gangsters and outlaws.
Lebanon boasts a number of areas in the Beqaa Valley with gusts that rise to speeds of four to six meters per second, strong enough to fuel wind turbines.
The biggest upset for the opposition was in their Christian stronghold Zehle, in the eastern Beqaa valley, which the Hariri camp won its seven seats.
