The Argentine" shows Guevara (Benicio del Toro) first meeting Fidel Castro (Demian Bichir, in a notable part) at a dinner party in Mexico.
With Demian Bichir looking uncannily like Fidel Castro, who became embedded in our psyche by living on to rule the roost in Cuba for decades, Benicio Del Toro has solid foundations on which to portray Che whose image was defined in Alberto Korda's definitive photograph of 1960, just seven years before the revolutionary's death.
