| In this case, the globe thermometer is a black copper ball, 6 centimeters in diameter, into which is inserted a temperature-standard thermometer with a 30[degrees]-to-120[degrees] F range. Oxide mineralization occurs as black copper minerals and malachite within residual dolomite overlying the Grand Conglomerate in a stratigraphic position equivalent to the Lonshi ore body.
