| My first introduction to the teacher's resource guide entitled Pastoral Guidelines to Assist Students of Same-Sex Orientation (Education Commission, Ontario Bishops, 2003) came from a Catholic New Times article written by Michael Arbour and 'gay' activist Barry Blackburn called "Good News for gay and lesbian kids" (June 4, 2006). Blackburn gained access to the tapes, now owned by a private collector, and decided to use them to write a book without, as she says, trying "to establish order in this chaos. Blackburn's is under the direction of hotel and entertainment industry veteran Kevin Rouse, his business partner Gerald Blackburn and executive chef Rodney Taylor. |
