| People used to flock to the park this time of year to view the yellow bladder pod and creosote blooms, and the red blossoms of ocotillo cactus. As in most plants, flowers of the wild bladder pod have both male and female parts. Bladder pod, verbena and dune primrose came out in early January - nearly eight weeks before they typically appear, park officials said. |
