Mackler's Bochum University students are re-examining the '60s, the era of Piano and Rogers' Pompidou Centre and experimental modular design.
This screening of two films from 2003, Living a Beautiful Life and Das Nachste Mal (Next Time), was the first time any of them has appeared in a gallery; both subsequently traveled to the Kunstverein Bochum.
The text, originally submitted as a dissertation at the University of Bochum in 1999, is not, however, easy to read.
