Paul Hopkins, 23, died in the early hours of Thursday after collapsing in Brannigans during a night out with friends in Chester.
Among those which have closed their doors are Waxy O'Connors, Hard Rock Cafe, Some Place Else, Congress, Blush, Mellow Bar, the Masalalounge, Springbok, Brannigans, Zinc, and Ipanema.
The court heard how the woman, who was 27 at the time of the alleged attack, had been enjoying a night out with former workmates at various city centre bars before finishing at Brannigans, Broad Street, on the evening of March 31, 2007.
