During my two weeks in Great Britain, the nation said farewell to the last surviving British Tommy from World War I.
But some of my impotent anger is directed too at those who decided they had a God-given right (the ACHAPTER of history was closed last Thursday when Harry Patch, the last surviving British Tommy to fight in the trenches of the Great War, was laid to rest in Wells, Somerset.
