NEW YORK -- The dollar fell Thursday to its lowest level against the British pound in 14 years and lost value against the euro and Japanese yen.
The dollar has fallen by approximately five percent against the British pound and the Japanese yen; by nearly 10 percent against the euro and the Canadian and Australian dollars; and by 14 percent against the New Zealand dollar.
It issued the Iraqi dinar at par with the British pound, backing the dinar fully with British pound reserves.
