CABINET
El Consejo de Ministros británico (Cabinet) se compone de unos veinte ministros, escogidos por el Primer Ministro (Prime Minister). Su función es la de planificar la legislación importante y defender la política del Gobierno en los debates.
En Estados Unidos el Cabinet tiene meramente carácter consultivo, su función es aconsejar al Presidente. Sus miembros, escogidos por él y nombrados con el consentimiento del Senado (Senate), son jefes de departamentos ejecutivos o altos cargos del gobierno, pero no pueden ser miembros del Congreso (Congress).
