Friga said Caine told her how his band became involved in Make-A-Wish, writing and performing a song for a boy who was near death. The Caine Prize for African writing was awarded in July to Mary Watson of Cape Town, South Africa, for her short story "Jungfrau" from her collection Moss (Kwela Books, 2004). Publisher Brian Caine said the magazine "is a unique vehicle for vendors to effectively reach and introduce their company's expertise to a targeted, qualified" group of industry executives. |
