Seoul  (sl)
The capital and largest city of South Korea, in the northwest part of the country east of Inchon. Founded in the 14th century, it became the country's capital in 1948 and was twice occupied by Communist forces during the Korean War. Population: 9,820,000.

com Apr 30, 2009 Korea "Hi Seoul Festival 2009," celebrating its 7th anniversary this year, will be held from May 2-10 in Seoul, the capital of Korea.
Last year, the Seoul Metropolitan Government, the administrative organization of the capital of Korea, initiated "e-Seoul 2001," a project aimed to improve the efficiency of administration and to provide various information for its citizens based on an intelligent information infrastructure.
It was also announced today that one such relationship involves a collaboration between C Change, Bio Medical City, Inc of Korea and two Korean government agencies to develop a first-of-a-kind ecologically sustainable Medical Science Green City to be located within Sejong, which is to become the new administrative capital of Korea.
