As Chicken Littles had warned, the stock market collapsed and many are rendered job less.
Research dollars spent on safer nuclear, cleaner coal, native oil, and lower-impact hydro would surely pay off if lawmakers would pay more attention to the shops and manufacturers that drive the economy than they do to Chicken Littles who want to return to the good old days of subsistence farming.
