Developer, The Dermot Company, with its partner The Canyon-Johnson Urban Funds, are transforming this 37-story, 77-year-old landmark building, adorned with a golden dome and one of the world's largest four-sided clock towers, into Brooklyn's most distinctive residences.
About two years ago, the council approved a concept put forward by the West Boulevard Business Association's plans for clock towers, benches and other improvements, he said.
A copper dome and one of the world's largest four-sided clock towers adorn the historical landmark building, which offers unobstructed views of Manhattan and all of Brooklyn.
