Its features are the same as the Presto's Orville Redenbacher Hot Air Corn Popper excluding the logo and color.
But it was first used to make ceremonial head-dresses, necklaces and ornaments on the statues of gods in the Americas, 5000 years before the first electric corn popper was invented in 1907.
When I spoke to Hearthware's Alan Kelley, he also claimed they had increased voltage regulation to more than would typically be in a home corn popper in order to maintain tighter temperature tolerances.
