UFOs, angels, vampires, cyborgs, virtual reality, demonic possession, magic, witchcraft, ghosts and encounters with the dead are some of the story lines that showcase mystery. One might imagine that the characters could interact on a somewhat meaningful level, but no: All dialogue feels utterly synthetic -- cyborgs might speak this way, but humans don't.
