Tokyo, Japan, July 26, 2005 - (JCNN) - Takara Bio announced on July 25 that it has launched PrimeSTAR HS DNA Polymerase, a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) enzyme with high fidelity and increased DNA amplification efficiency.
In nature, an enzyme called DNA polymerase replicates the genetic material by moving along one of the molecule's two strands, all the while adding complementary bases to form a new DNA molecule.
