The primary psychoactive substance in cannabis is Delta-9-TetraHydroCannabinol (THC), though many other cannabinoid compounds are present in it.
Several different versions circulate within the Cypriot basketball sphere on the subject of who the players involved were and which substances they were alleged to have used; however, there are indications that in the urine sample of one of the players the anti-doping team recovered traces of Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol, marijuana, while there are also suggestions that one of the players has tested positive for anabolic steroids.
The active ingredient in Cannabis is delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).
