Cardiff Crown Court heard how John Fegan, 29, a Lance Corporal stationed at Derring Lines,Brecon, will be immediately discharged from the army.
The highlight has to be Derring Rose winning the Stayers' Hurdle for me by 30 lengths in 1981, trained by Fred Winter and ridden by John Francome.
Now a memorial (pictured) to Jet, that stands in Calderstones Park, has been restored incorporating the full tale of his deeds of derring do, according to Glynis Ward ,whose late mum was Jet's owner.
