An EU summit last week agreed that developing nations will need 100 billion euros (146 billion dollars) per year by 2020 to tackle climate change, but failed to nail down how much it would give.
Byline: ANI New Delhi, Oct 23 (ANI): Developing nations may need to slow projected increase in their carbon emissions by 15 percent by 2020 if rich countries agree to reduce their's by up to 40 percent for a new global deal, said Yvo De Boer, executive secretary, United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
But they say developing nations should also pledge to curb their output of greenhouse gases.
