Our first ones of dolmeh and salad-e shirazi got things going very well.
Known to the Greeks as dolmath, the Turks dolma, the Persians dolmeh, and the Arabs mashi, stuffed vegetables have been a favored food in the Middle East and the Balkans for centuries.
Claire was a bit more adventurous, starting with a Dolmeh Falafel,a filling pepper grilled until it was so soft it squished between your teeth, stuffed with a mixture of root vegetables and fried rice.
