Vito Canzoneri of the Eastern Rite Catholic Church joins a protest led by members of the Queen of Angels Church members Friday night at Cinemark 22 in Lancaster against ``The Da Vinci Code.
Some exceptions are (1) members of non-Catholic Eastern Rite churches who ask for it spontaneously and are rightly disposed; (2) other non-Catholic Christians who are in danger of death or other episcopally-sanctioned grave and pressing need who spontaneously ask for it, believe as Catholics do in the Real Presence, and are rightly disposed (Canon Law #844).
Of Franz Klein's comments in the same issue, it is almost enough to say that Orthodox and Eastern Rite Catholic priests, who have for centuries somehow muddled through, some married, some celibate, might be surprised to learn this seminarian's uncompromising verdict: "Either priests are celibate or married.
