Lessons for Cameron EXCERPTS from an editorial in The Independent on Saturday: British Europhobes have been as vociferous as some pro-European voices in their criticisms of the undemocratic way in which Europe's new leadership team has been chosen.
But David Cameron won the Tory leadership with promises to his Europhobes.
There will be a welcome too for the planned tax breaks for new businesses, although they will not dampen concern about the damage that could be done to firms of all sizes if the party's parochial Europhobes ever hold sway again.
