I just can't stand how animals in the Everglades are being pushed out of their homes (see JS 4/11/05). Boston Whaler and Everglades boats recently previewed two new models at the Miami Boat Show that add more versatility to these fishing machines in the 30-foot range. Changes in water management practices have been found to lead to declining numbers of alligators, creating flooding in some areas like Everglades National Park, while other areas in northern Florida are in near-drought status. |
