Last Sunday, while most people were fixated on the Oscars spectacle, newly retired Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan was in Detroit giving what he said was his final speech -- and for the first time he actually made a lot of sense (about 80 percent of the time).
Ellison, a 43-year-old attorney and a "former" disciple of Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, won the November 7 election for Minnesota's 5th Congressional District, a Democratic stronghold that includes part of Minneapolis.
