STORA ENSO, Helsinki, Finland has signed a loan agreement with International Financing Corporation (IFC).
It emerged that the allegedly fraudulent accounts were signed off by British accountancy firm Grant Thornton, which audited the 2002 books of Parmalat subsidiary Bonlat Financing Corporation.
By creating its own nonprofit financing corporation, which involves few expenses other than about $5,000 in start-up costs, the district can save those fees, officials said.
