The part of algebra concerned with the relation between solutions of a polynomial equation and the fields containing those solutions. It gives conditions under which the solutions can be expressed in terms of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and of the extraction of roots.

The company offers several versions of camera systems with features that range from fixed field of view to pantilt-zoom cameras with megapixel technology.
It might be the four lines of name and address information intended to print mail labels in your legacy system that you need to load into your new CRM system, or it could be the fixed fields in the old order entry system that truncate values or cause the data entry operator to type into the next field on the screen (regardless of what it's supposed to be used for).
Even though we did not have a zoom lens, this did not turn out to be much of a problem for us, since the maximum image size we expected to get was less than 10% of our fixed field of view.
