FLEXO CONCEPTS Plymouth MA USA Flexo concepts has introduced its ReNew Green anilox circulation system and general pressroom cleaner.
Printing Industries of America/Graphic Arts Technical Foundation (PIA/GATF) announced that Sun Chemical was awarded a 2008 InterTech Technology Award for its Platinum White technology, a UV flexo white ink that improves the productivity of converters when printing narrow web labels by delivering increased line speeds, faster changeovers, improved color separations and reduced costs.
Flexible packaging specialist Skanem Hall's ability to match the quality available from gravure to its flexo presses and to turn around short run jobs with lightning speed at a significantly lower cost has persuaded one of the 15K's leading dried food producers to switch from gravure to flexo printing for several of its premium ranges of sauces and soup sold in Ireland.
