One of the key highlights during the Period was the commencement of commercial operations of Emirates Float Glass LLC (EFG), a state-of--the-art float glass manufacturing facility set up with technological assistance from US-based PPG Industries.
The project will help Interglass to raise its production capacity by over a third, to 600 tonnes per day, while significantly reducing the production costs and improving the quality of the float glass.
The agreement requires Emirates Float Glass (EFG) to supply that volume, amounting to 1.
