Grigorovich also restaged Petipa's ballets and added ballets by Balanchine, Fokine, and Roland Petit to the repertoire. Balanchine was discovered by Sergei Diaghilev, whose Ballets Russes also produced the great works by Mikhail Fokine and Vaslav Nijinsky.
