Fort Smith
1. A region of southwest Northwest Territories, Canada, including Great Slave Lake and most of Great Bear Lake.
2. A city of western Arkansas on the Oklahoma border west-northwest of Little Rock. It was founded as a military post in 1817. Population: 83,500.
