This is the lady who rescued Matthew Boulton College from pounds 5 million debt and is now principal and chief executive of Matthew Boulton and Sutton colleges of further and higher education.
The college's bid is supported by Bill Rammell, the further and higher education minister.
The further and higher education students, who are on on programmes such as photography, digital imaging and graphics, and fine art, are displaying a varied and thought-provoking range of work at the Blossomfield Road campus until tomorrow from 9am to 5pm.
