Fuzhou

Fu·zhou  (fj) also Foo·chow or Fu·chou (fj, -chou)
A city of southeast China on the Min River delta. An ancient walled city, it was a treaty port following the Opium War (1839-1842). Fuzhou has been the capital of Fujian province since the tenth century. Population: 1,170,000.
