It is the yellow of summer morning sun; JMW Turner worshipped it, and I shall never charge my brush with it again without thanks to the trunk of Garcinia hanburyi, although that tree was probably only trying to discourage malevolent insect activity by secreting a gum that was toxic, or anyway obstructed their greedy little jaws from chewing.
