Israel to Distribute Gas Masks in Fear of Chemical Attack Israel is preparing to distribute gas masks to the entire Israeli population, as a precautionary measure against a possible chemical attack, the Beirut influential daily AN NAHAR reported Friday.
The radio announcer warns listeners that using the gas masks in this way was "a highly dangerous practice".
We had to take our gas masks to school every day and once a week we put them on and tested them.
