Architect Frank Gehry will not be designing any of the planned 17 buildings in the Atlantic Yards project, a spokesperson for the architect said.
As the master planner for the Atlantic Yards development, Gehry created a blueprint for what will be a new urban community blending the arena--to be called the Barclays Center-housing, retail and commercial space, as well as six acres of landscaped public open space.
