Researchers determined the optimum conditions for preparing resistant glutarate adlay starch.
It is synthesized from alpha-keto glutarate, which is produced just before the Succinyl Co-A stage of the Krebs Cycle in the brain.
In previous works, we have successfully synthesized high-molecular-weight alternating PPC in very high yields (126 g polymer per gram catalyst) using supported zinc glutarate as catalyst under optimized reaction conditions [11, 12].
